The Love Fairy

I’m the love fairy, I’m sent from above 
With one simple mission: to find people love
Whether you’re fat or thin, or short or tall
There’s someone out there for one and for all

I’m the love fairy, I bring folk together 
Especially those who would likely meet, never
I look in their heart and their soul and their mind
‘The one’ is the one I endeavour to find

I’m the love fairy, when Cupid’s heart sings
My day’s work is done and I hang up my wings
I head for my home among mortal mankind
Some sad and some lonely with romance in mind

I’m the love fairy, and if you are single
Because you are shy or you struggle to mingle
Tomorrow’s a new day and what I shall do
Is seek and find someone who’s just right for you

I’m the love fairy and this is my street
And this is my house but there’s no-one to greet
My windows are dark, there’s no lights, no TV
Will there one day be a love fairy for me?
