The Loud Silence

Every night on the same bed We continue to sleep in the same position I wonder what killed the spark of our passion You promised me forever Five years down the line everything seems to be dead We are of no doubt together But no longer in love but in silence The screaming silence generated by you You promised to say it every day even in my absence But I cannot remember the last time you said "I Love You" When you promise to stay by my side I forgot to ask... Did you mean in silence? ©Oluwasola Elisha - ABSOL
