The Lost Girl

Oh Dear where are you
She dreamt of skies
But today she can't find ground beneath her feet
She had stars in her eyes
But today she is lost in the night
Oh Dear! where are you
The beautiful girl
Who wanted to conquer the world
Today she is fighting a battle within
Oh Dear! Where are you?
She was ray of hope
The light of optimism
Alas, the negativity has permeated her too
Now she cannot help herself anymore
Oh Dear! Where are you?
She wanted always to express
But today expression makes her feel "too much"
Better not to she thinks
But then, where is the reality if she can't be real, her heart sinks
Oh Dear! Where are you?
She is lost somewhere
Somewhere inside herself
She believed in God
Now she just believed in God
The hopeless creature
She walks and gets up
And prays for strength for others
The little girl
Her mind was filled with imagination
And now she is dead inside
And see the irony
Her future is searching for her now
The lost girl of the past
