THE LOST DOLL
Six years old Tina lost her doll
on holiday trip to Aunt’s residence.
Reaching she rejoiced on Aunt’s call:
Lots of dolls exhibited in the hall !
What’s a coincidence!
Childhood memories are preserved till:
Aunt gave Tina all the dolls.
She felt excited cheerful and thrilled.
getting peerless gift after all.
Books arranged in shelf tempted Dad.
He chose Maths book for Tina to study
but world of Tina turned sad.
To play with dolls, she was just greedy.
Back to home, as holiday was over.
To take at least one doll Tina was eager.
Dad didn't permit ! He took Maths book rather.
Tina couldn’t raise voice challenging Dad’s anger.
