The Lost Boys
If eyesight could pierce the solar bright
And humans traveled at the speed of light
To be present at the yesteryear's glow
Seeing all colors of the rainbow
Reaching and touching the right wave
In this Elysian, to behold your babe
Physically adorn, the child is born
Hearing the spring of this precious being
This star of love: singing, beaming, blossoming
Dear little one, far above, dear little sun
Exemplar in the image of the Eternal Empyrean
Pursuing the blaze, viewing those first days
A blessing, Expressing
Choosing, climbing, falling, crawling
Dear little star it was not that long ago
Just a delight, a sunbeam innocent halo
Aging, changing
Dear little star who swam, immerse in the rain
Ordain and walk under the clouds on the earth’s terrain
Then in blink of an eye
Time evaporates dry
But within an unforeseen storm, this erosion of fear
Worn and torn, the lights disappear
Once upon a time…
The babe, now placed in a grave
The candlelight is far and now close
A twinkling white star among the cosmos
From an echo to a guardian angel
If our eyesight could pierce the starlight
Dear little one, dear little sun
The light will pardon, for the light has won
For the night must end
Alas the twilight will come
Oh, little star, thou wilt ascend
Because of the Eternal Sun
In remembrance of cuz J. and H. and you to my friend S. ><
