"the Lost"
They have lost their way,
beg and plead,
they do not stay
For search they do,
for what? i do not know.
Aimless wanderings
and it shows
For the vast wilderness
is their home,
vast emptiness,
they roam
Out of heart ,out of hand
the precious thing they seek,
they search through out the land
For they cannot find, what cannot be found,
they cannot see, what cannot be seen,
they cannot feel what cannot be touched
All they sense is sound,
The only sense of theirs is keen,
For they are blind to all,
and all are blind.
For it can be seen
They have lost the way,
they are "the lost"
emotions,touch and see.
And at what cost?
For they cannot flee
Show them the way with lantern light,
the few that learn,
joy of sight.
The rest will yearn,
for they are "the lost"
For to learn,
one must open eyes
forget what you dont see,
break those ties
To follow soft lantern light,
for all to see,
one must learn humility
But for "the lost",
it is their choice of state.
Only they can choose their fate.
For the lantern is always there.
Here,there,everywhere
