Hi Andrea, I agree, so much can be "lost" from this addiction. Strong marriages have summoned to the dreadful addiction. Congratulations on your placement in the contest. It was deserved:-) Alexis

I'll BET this one's up there in the winner's circle somewhere. I'll lay you 2:1 odds...No, I'll see that and raise it...Wait, I'll double all the money in the pot... ~ A. Dick Ted (tongue firmly in cheek, of course)… Seriously: very, very nicely done, Andrea. Holiday Happiness! ~ Gershon

That is something, right?! They love the sound of the slot machines, the feel of money slipping through their fingers, and more. They could be us, so stepping lightly on someone else’s sin. Be blessed! Merry Christmas, always sweet Andrea!

Great one-liner, Andrea. I have a number of clients who like to gamble and it boggles my mind when they bring their info to me and say "look I won 20K this year" I say but what about the 50K you lost...such a waste of money. Best of luck in the contest. John

Boy does this one hit home! Gamblers always remember their big wins and forget their losses. This should do well in his contest Andrea. Is your shopping done? Mine is now. Mele Kalikimaka! : ) xxoo

So very sad; I know so many who have lost so much of their "real" lives, due to this "pretend life" they became addicted to winning. Yet, who wins? Not the ones who are on this side of the machines.

So true Andrea, this should be displayed as a warning outside every casino. Good luck. Tom.

Great one Andrea. It is funny. I forgot for a moment I had already entered the contest lol and I wrote one about gambling then realized and threw it away. Well done. Merry Christmas! :)
