The Lord's Race

The Devil is a liar yes truly indeed he is,

He has brought forth, hatred, anger, temptation, and lies to mislead the Lord’s kids,

But if we are to follow the righteous path that the Lord has created for us all then we shall
never drift astray!

So if the Devil approaches you, call him out for the liar that he is and then set forth your
course for another way!

The Lord does present obstacles to us from time to time but never too much that we feel we
can’t control,

Remember, he is our fire that burns from within, our Savior that shed us and warmth us from
the cold!

Everyday seems to be a struggle, somewhat of a grind but I feel the elation from within my
Lord and Savior whenever I rejoice in his name,

I have lived that life of sin, so at the altar I went to repent for that life of shame.

I was torn between a life of sin and a world that possibly could be,

But I was not in the right state of mind to hear the Lord because I felt that the Lord do not
want to hear nor did I believed that he truly cared for me!

I had felt that I was placed here to feel the hatred and the pain until that one glorious day
that he gave me my wonderful surprise,

I saw that I was blessed in so many ways by him whenever I stopped and looked at the love
my daughters shared for me whenever I look into their eyes!

You see, the Lord’s work for us is NEVER to be questioned; it is simply there for us to just
know and understand,

Remember, we may feel at times that we’re living in dyer moments and days but remember
in his words and know that the Lord has us all in his ultimate plans!

Life is like a track meet that we all are running in, but know that the Lord has already ran this
event and he is running it at a steady pace,

He has ran ahead of us to clear all the obstacles out of our away and awaiting for us at the
finish-line so that we can cross over and complete the Lord’s Race!
