The Lord's Poem
Lord,
I've laughed and loved
I've worked and played
I've suffered through heartache
through pleasure and pain
I've battled with demons
I've cried with some saints
I've begged for forgiveness
I've listed complaints
I dropped you a line
I fell to my knees
I've cursed you in anger
And asked for some peace
So please take some time
The name's Billy Hitz
And just let me know
That you really exist
