The Lord Wins the Victory -Proverbs 21: 31

In this life, we have many a battle
battles that conflict our very nature
it calls us to give our very best
being full of strength in strong stature

As a stallion likes galloping on and on
over every fence from a field to a friend
in the knowledge that God brings victory
one soldier on, whatever our blend

God works His will in glorious ways
pointing to His word for direction
His route would lead right to heaven
from there the Lord works His election

Victory means so many different things
to every kind of peoples no matter what
but there's really the only true victory
the victory of the Lord it can't be bought

The Lord's victories eternal and divine
outlasting all our lives timeless to be full
filling those who believe in Christ
this diamond's priceless a sparkling jewel

('The horse is made ready for the day of battle,
but the victory belongs to the Lord.')
