The Longing

How I wish I could hold your hand
How I wish I could look into your eyes 
How I wish I could kiss you 
How I wish I could know you 
How I wish you'd open your heart to me
How I wish you'd share your dreams with me

How I wish you'd want to know me 
How I wish you'd want to hold my hand 
How I wish you'd look at me the way I look at you

Would you find it strange if I just held your hand
Would you find me strange when I tell you...
I want to be with you

Would you understand this longing
Wanting to be part of your life

Would you find it strange...
