The Longing

Lay me down on the serenity of your heart, for, it's you that I longed from the start. Let me taste the bounty of your grace like a child that longs for your embrace. Touch me like a flower in winter snow. Let me be roused by the warmth of your glow. For, without you, I am lost in the dark like a light that glows without spark.
