The Longest Storm

The Longest Storm

Never has there been a thing
So grand that it could be
Used to measure what we have
Nor could a sage foresee
The boundless limits of my love
Cept for my hypocrisy

So stand beside me once again
A final chance to see
If I can prove u saved my life
By being kind to me
Then softly share a smile
Of your generosity

I know this is a test of time
That someday had to be
If love will last forever
I know it’s up to me
To be a man who’s worthy
To join your destiny
