The Long Forgotten Johnny Rotten

Remember Johnny Rotten? One time star of stage and screen. His legend now forgotten, And his films are seldom seen. Studied movies and the arts, Before shining on the stage. Then his name would top the charts, In Hollywood's Golden Age. Loved fast women and fast cars, He raced through life full throttle. Though too many were in bars, And fell prey to the bottle. All the women and the booze, Caused the decline of his fame. Then with nothing else to lose, Would die alone from his shame. He's no longer in the light, And his fate may seem unjust. Once a candle burning bright, Now a flicker in the dust.
