The Long and Short of It
As long as there be
an independent identity
in any form or domain
is separateness best lain
at the feet of The One
wherefrom it has sprung
that the ego may dissolve
being to become one with the all
Thus all that is needed
if these words are heeded
is the dropping away of ego
as all attachments we forgo
tested time and again
until we be free of stain
presence magnetised emptiness
throbbing with love in fullness
