The Lonely Weed

She was a weed amongst the flowers,
They called her a bad seed
     and took away her powers.
The garden gnome saw her plight,
Guarded her both day and night
Until one day the lonely weed
Had her say and God agreed
To let her bloom in yellow gown,
And to the ball, from every town,
The bees came to the bower
To court her dancing flower power!
