3.
This Christmas Eve, I'm sad and grieve; let's meet somehow.
While fate I had can wait, let me, my maker, see.
I now impart my heart- this wish, allow.
Please come tonight, I ask, and by lamplight, we will
together, bask and share and so declare, agree-
I am alive and thrive; my joy please fill.
I pray, with hope come here, my dear- do not delay.
I'm here for you; to cope, you too can comfort me-
though it appears, with fears- alone I'll stay.
