The Lonely Sepulcher
All alone I sit here
in this lonely sepulcher.
Watching the setting sun
as though his work is done.
He has been with me all day,
guiding and lighting my way.
But now he is leaving me here,
me and the lonely sepulcher.
As the last ray of the sun fading,
I saw the stars and moon rising.
Telling me not to be alone,
not to feel bad of my own.
With the moon shining
and the stars glittering,
I lay oblivious for a while,
taking myself to the farthest mile.
Forgetting the world around me,
forgetting all its uncertainty,
forgetting this life full of doubt
that made my tears spout.
The burdens are so much for me,
so much for me to carry.
Now I feel like letting it all go,
letting myself go...
