The Lonely Search Metrical Form For Contest

(METRICAL FORM)

                                         THE LONELY SEARCH

Innate tremendous beauty dwells in words

That surpass all visions --- wilder than the shade of purest blue--

No trilling song that I have ever heard,

No surrogate-- can surpass the purist elegance that I pursue.

Each night my dreams entice that I will find

A kindred body whisp'ring words I long to hear--

But--waking fear my restless hungry mind

Holds me doomed in isolation...dreadful fear.
