The Lone Ranger

It's a cold and rainy, nasty old day Methinks I'll just stay inside today Dream about love and happy things Things that make my old heart sing Recalling the joyous days of my youth Wasn't outgoing, a surprising truth Wasn't until very many years later Finally became a mover and shaker Now it's impossible to keep me down Known worldwide as a bit of a clown Happy as poop in this role that I'm cast I'm a No. 1 clown right down to the last Sometimes I'll still write about mush Remember the feeling and start to gush Now I remember that familiar old stirring Suddenly the feeling is recurring So I sit for a while and think about nature Cause now I'm known as The Lone Ranger © Jack Ellison 2013

Yea, Jack.... Us old geezers ain't dead yet....Hell, I just fell in love with some chick out by the lake one night last summer. And I don't even know her name.. I just "Blame It On The Moon" Great write here.... BTW... With Tonto around all the time, why was he called the Lone Ranger? Only Clayton Moore would know. Gimme one of those silver bullets... You too... I fall in love regularly! LOL As I write this the Lone Ranger's theme is going around in my head "The William Tell Overture" Hi Ho Silver Away!!! Good question about why he was called the LONE Ranger! LOL Thanks for dropping by John or Jake! I'm often called Jake as well or Jake the Snake!!!

Dragon says that would be be the perfect costume to hand out candy to the kiddies in... Tho most don't remember the lone ranger... Sigh! Tho we do have him here on the oldie but goodie channel here... But Dragon says with Cathie and us around you should never be lonely... He wants to come up north to visit but can't find his birth certificate... (Don't tell him I hid it)... Will save you a world of flame!...LOL
