The Lone Fighter

I’ll humble myself to fight

As fearless as a Knight

All may look very tight

Yet I’ll confront my plight

The thickness of the night

Or the altitude of the flight

In it there’s sunlight

And I know is very bright

Honor, really is my delight

I’ll persist in my might

In time! I know I’ll be right

The depth of my insight

One goal will I pursue in sight

To attain the uncommon height

And behold the shining light
