The Locked Door

THE LOCKED DOOR I sit alone in the black room No windows, no sunshine , only gloom. I sit here and I feel the pain Sadness falls on me like rain. Thoughts in my mind run like a river There is no hope it makes me shiver. The door was open not long ago What made it close , I do not know. Time and days mean nothing here No clock, no calendar, only fear. I have been in this room many times before And I know there is a key to open the door. I have to search , look and findw The key is somewhere in my mind. I search and look for days on end God help me find that key again. I can't go on like this any more I must find a way to open the door. I fall to my knees and pray for light Lord help me make it through to night. And the Lord hears my plea He says," My Child I am the key." He said walk with me forever more And there will never be another locked door.. The door is open I am alive I know with God I can survive. Never again will I be bound God is the key I have found. If you find yourself locked in doubt Get on your knees it's the only way out. Just ask "God to be your key. I speak the truth please listen to me.
