The Lizard King

( Written with the tune 'Riders on the storm' in mind)

Unpredictable and wild
At times a Jekyll then a Hyde.
A rebel on the run
Just looking to have fun.
But when he began to sing
His voice would draw you in
They called him 'Lizard King'.

A fleeting honeymoon
He left this life too soon.
Creatively inclined
He sometimes lost his mind.
Like a tune without a beat
His life was incomplete;
A medley bittersweet.

As a great Doors fan, I loved this. Too soon many creators leave us. Noel from NoelsArt

I'm really grateful for your feedback,Noel. It only really works if you fit the words to the 'Riders of the storm' melody but I'm glad it appealed to you.

Thank you,Caren. I might stand a chance if she sings along to it!
