The Little Things
These are the things that count
As soon they will begin to mount
They begin to build who you really are
And then you never really drift too far
It’s a door, a package or a coin
As parts of your character begin to join
Greeting them all with a great big smile
It doesn’t happen over night, it takes a while
Even when you are not at your best
That may be when God put’s you to the test
And you answer His Call in a ready fashion
For He is my Lord, He is my passion
So I extend my hand
Listening, and trying to understand
Just in being there
You show someone else that you care
Maybe the little things aren’t so small
Bringing us together and uniting us all
But it all has to have a start
And that begins when you place Jesus in your heart
