The Little Things

I enjoy the little things
And the big things, I ignore
Instead of sitting idle,
I would much rather explore.

Life is an adventure
So, I take it as a joke.
I'll always find the silver lining,
Even if I'm hungry, homeless, and broke.

Nothing in this world matters
No, not even me or you,
So living for just this moment
Is all that we can do.

I enjoy the little things,
Because that's all we really have
Every moment I'm alive,
I'll be searching for a laugh.
