The Little Girl You Once Knew

Don’t look for me in the meadow for I won’t be there
The little girl you once knew is gone forever and I don’t know where
Left to search for those long lost dreams I longed to come true
Dreams that were my hopes for me and you

I ask you now where and when did we go astray
How did the plans for our future we simply let drift away
I can’t say it was all your fault
It was partly me too
But this you must know never would I want to hurt you

We were lost souls who by chance found each other on this way
We found comfort and love and felt together we would always stay
But that was not to be part of our destiny
And that’s why I ask please don’t come and look for me
Remember the girl you once knew and remember until the end of time that girl Will always love you
