The Lions Den

Hate is such a strong word Much mental anguish will be incurred Maintaining this painful thought Is a long way from hitting the jackpot This place which I spend most of the day Makes me want to breakaway Leave this mundane office with no daylight Escape from the hustle of the bull fight A place where silence is king My stress will release like a coil spring A few moments of empty brain space Will give me a chance to try and erase The misery of the place I call work I will be standing there with a smirk Watching the next poor crew of work men Walking into the lion’s den
