The Light Within

I’m looking for a pianist or a guitarist to play my song/collaborate with me on this song. Enjoy the lyrics. I can sing them too, but I haven’t finished the melody quite yet:

The Light Within

I tell you — you’re not alone
You’re not on your own
You dance with your utmost might
You fight without a fright tonight
Even though we’re falling seven feet under,
Within us is a beautiful, ardent thunder

Time will tell, time will tell
When I get out of this spell
I’m getting out of my shell
Where have you been?
I’m 7 feet under within
Lift me up once again…

In my life,
I got to tell you goodbye
Get out, strife
Before I begin to fly
This time, I won’t let me quit
From letting the light in
This time, I am extremely fit
To let my might win…
Letting the light in in my life
Letting the light soak up the strife
Letting the light in
Deep down inside within

Deep down within these strange walls
I hear the cat calling from the closed door
Within these ruins and decadent halls,
There’s hope in store…there’s hope in store…
Even though we’re falling seven feet under,
Within us is a beautiful, ardent thunder

Time will tell, time will tell
When I get out of this spell
I’m getting out of my shell
Where have you been?
I’m 7 feet under within
Lift me up once again…

In my life,
I got to tell you goodbye
Get out, strife
Before I begin to fly
This time, I won’t let me quit
From letting the light in
This time, I am extremely fit
To let my might win…
Letting the light in in my life
Letting the light soak up the strife
Letting the light in
Deep down inside within

This time, we won’t be falling seven feet under
From letting my might begin
This time, you and I are the ardent thunder
To let the light in…in…in…
I won’t let the darkness win,
For I’ll let the light within in…
