The Light Still Shone In Her Eyes

I lie back and think of her Wishing my days were younger still And the light that shone In her eyes still did so for me Do you think of her decision That she made to go when You wanted her to stay forever The years have passed slowly But I remember her still And the way she looked At me when the morning sun Still shone for me. © Paul Warren Poetry
