The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

The Light of the Spirit

Why is it that you do not see and why do you not hear
What separates you from me when really we're so near
Why you're so blind but the reality is so obviously clear
Why you can not find what I end up holding most dear

How is one even able to deny your very own Creator
Then giving me a label when it's you who's not sure
A forest among the trees as the truth that one sees
No matter who believes it is only Jesus who frees

But why did you miss what others nailed on the head
While you deny all that they choose to follow instead
But what is the difference how did you get excluded
His Love being so immense everybody was included

I know why you were left out and your heart sealed
It's because of doubt and what your heart revealed
No faith in what will save no faith in Jesus' Name
So no Light He gave to any filled with such shame

Luke 11:36
If thy whole body therefore be full of light,
having no part dark, the whole shall be full of light,
as when the bright shining of a candle doth give thee light.
