The Light Is Waiting

The lighting, it was over-bright
Yet, undisturbed was the darkness.
Hanging from rafters high above
Lurking in corners, still unseen.
The Lighting now, ever so pure
Waited for this soul's remarkness,
"I cannot see...I cannot see...
Oh Lord, take the blinders from me" !
