The Light
Poverty taught us to sustain never to gain
So we can never reach the light, and see
The beautiful sight of wealth that it projects
They attain shines, they have the sun,
We left with darkness and no light
They shine there light from miles away
Knowing we need them,
But in there careless ways,
There light fuses,
what now Its a blackout,
no one sees what they are doing
We just moving,
whispering in the shadows,
No colour and no gender to define us,
All we see is each others eyes
We are in the dark,
we are all the same now
Who knew proper equality,
Could be made of having no light shining,
Was it the light in the first place
The knowledge of knowing,
The income one earns,
The geographic location one lives,
Oh! now its gone, Its no more,
Is this another obstacle set by the state?
Is it a test by the heaven's?
Is it a curse made by the depths of hell?
It depends on your perspective,
Well I take it as true freedom
The shine gone,
The light of the morning
