The Light

Shining down into the mauve shadows path It blinds some in justified wrath Neither ore picks it up in the glory Iron nor bronze can tell his old story In truth it shines the brightest only when A foolish sinner skips the lions den Gave into saving, his heart now on fire The light shone in, heavens desire Stand there awhile, take a deep breath, and rest This light puts us all to the test.

I enjoyed reading this one on the light, Tim. How you say that the light puts us all to the test. Love how you have it shining into the mauve shadows path also!

This is quite the beautiful write my friend! I really enjoyed the intricate pathway you put before us, of a sinner moving along stepping into the unknown! And eventually finding the true light! Awesome poem Tim, Great Work!!
