The Life That Was

The Life I can't get back Is always retreating And it's forested walls They're always impeding My charts are always clouded My stars are always fogged By maps that are always shrouded By routes that're always Clogged Into the neverending I embrace the unknown With passion unending Into the never shown That I walk with no purpose I walk with no aplombe I walk with no sense of urgence Once more to the unknown
