The Life That I Had

Dear Lord

The Life that I had is all that I had
And the life that I had
Is Yours.

The Love that I had
Of the life that I had
Is now yours & yours & yours

A sleep I shall Be
At rest I shall be
Yet in death there is great Victory.

For I rest with the Lord
Now fully Restored
In life without an end

Yet the Joy of my years
With the warmth of my days,
Will be eternally Yours & yours & yours.

Dear Lord,
We are come together today in memory of F J M a Husband, a Dad a Father a grandfather a great grandfather and a friend
We thank you for is life, and all the years we shared with him.
We leave him in your care, and the glory of eternal life.
With deep sorrow and heart felt love, may he rest in peace
Through Jesus Christ our lord.
Amen

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
