The Life of Samson

In Zorah was born one called Samson he was blessed by God as he grew one day Samson went down to Timnah for a wife his intention was to woo After being married he set a riddle but his wife wept for seven days before finally Samson told his secret due to his wife he gave in and says The Philistines burned his father and wife Samson swore for this he would avenge with a donkeys jawbone struck thousand men so the Philistines fell Samson gained his revenge Samson wasa a great lover of women one he loved was Delilah no less but Samson had so much super strength no one knew how , couldn't even guess The Philistines persuaded Delilah to seduce him to find out why his strength was so but Samson wouldn't tell his secret till eventually he no longer said no So Samson's strength was in his hair Delilah made him sleep on his knee then got his seven hair locks shaved the Lord left him to be free Samson had now been blinded the Philistines called him to entertain but leaning against the pillars that day using his strength thousands he did slay The lesson of Samson is clearly seen it's not enough just having faith when lustful thoughts pull you down be holy as I am holy Jesus saith So be pure and sin not cut off every sinful thought keep Bible at right hand making sure you daily stand Judges chapters 13-16

I have always found Samson and Delilah's love sad. They could of been a great couple if she had loved him as much as he loved her. Good poem. Thanks for the visit.
