The Life of Death
What is it about taking your final breath?
What does it mean; the life of death…
The energy in the end of one’s existence,
has been a conundrum full of resistance.
A body expired can be a spirit full of gain,
a human lifeless is where vitality can remain.
I think that there’s vivacity in dying in vain.
Vigor in silence if a soul’s in compliance,
where the sun and rain form an alliance.
An entity can be free in death if at peace,
where misery and agony seem to cease.
A lonely soul’s torment can be put at ease.
The living and dying, the smiling and crying,
there’s balance in the storm and in the drying.
There’s a sparkle in death when life had zest,
and joy when your heart is finally put to rest.
We all ache for our souls to be finally blessed.
Taking your last breath, what does that mean?
It’s the longing of our bodies to perished clean.
