The Life of a Wife
Three loads of clothes
Some towels to fold
A sink full of dishes
A mind full of wishes
A bathroom to sanitize
A job I most despise
Floors to mop
When does it stop?
And when I am through
There is cooking to do
Cleaning once more
Then off to the store
Just when I think, my job is done
I forget, I have errands to run
When does it end?
Then I remember
That tomorrow
I get to do it all over again.
