The Life After'
Many people on this earth think about how much they can save for a rainy day.
What happens when they die? Did they plan on leaving it to someone, have they prayed?
The blessings our Lord has bestowed on them, do they give some money to those in need?
Do they think things like money, will show our Lord their real greed.
We all need the blessings our Lord deems that is truly worthy.
So the blessings on earth, are given to some and they are troubled by the things worldly.
Blessings come from our Father, to be shared with the ill and the poor.
By their own greed, forgetting the downtrodden, will be a burden to them, that's for sure.
Ask yourselves, if the Lord has blessed you and you don't give freely, where are your blessings?
Well they were given, yet, you squander it on your selfishness the Lord will judge I'm a guessing.
Have your parties, eat, be merry, pay for your vacations and enjoy.
But when you pass on, I tell you, you have had your chance, God will not forgive you, you had your joy.
You affluent people should be concerned about your ledger in the book of life.
Ignore it by all means, say their is no God, it after all it is your coming strife.
What you do on this earth counts for blessings in this book.
A rich man will never enter God's kingdom read your Bible, really see this and take a look.
God's kingdom is not of this earth the ones who have it all are doing nothing.
So when you sleep lying in your grave and account of your life will be accounted.
Their are people dying by the thousands you have the means to aid your fellow humans.
The Lord knows your actions, you'll be sentenced to a eternal life of torment, because of your greed, you didn't help them.
