THE LIE
Tell me your secrets,
I’ll tell you mine.
Don’t tell me lies,
We’ll get along fine.
The past is behind us,
The present is now.
That we can be friends
Is amusing somehow.
So tell her your secret
And tell her your lie.
What she doesn’t know
Is the road to goodbye.
