The Lie
and when i die
inside this lie
pretended happiness
let it be known
that seeds were sown
from lonely emptiness
were i be clear
'twas not from fear
nor suicidal choice
but ways are known
by those alone
unspoken yet with voice
for grief doest tempt
since first i wept
no longer found on earth
i make my stand
with empty hands
to judge my own life's worth
a soul so lost
who knows the cost
and pray He shall forgive
since she's been gone
i wake each dawn
no will or want to live
