The Lessons

What is this place we stand in?
A man in a skinned suit
Where we came to begin
To grow and strive
And we should give thanks to ours Mothers
For keeping us alive
What is this place we stand in?
We are creations of Jesus
Although we have sinned
We sailed into this existence like a seed on the
Wind
What is this place we stand in?
We live on a round planet
That silently spins
And we should care for it correctly
Before it gives in
What is this place that we stand in?
A world filled of hatred, sadness and, poverty
That looks pretty grim
We should try to be better to our neighbor’s
And then
What is this place that we stand in?
A place where we learn lessons
From ourselves
From within
