The Leaving Bride

I watched her as she walked down the isle Divine in a dress purely white To meet with the man she loved And to pledge him her heart. I will miss her smile Her kindly ways Forever I am Lost

I hadn't seen this one of yours before! You have done a great job of delivering a punch of emotion with this nonet. The sense of loss is so evident, especially with that very effective ending.

I really like this one. Reminds me of the movie scenes where the poor guy has to watch his true love marry another!! Great title for this one too. have you tried etheree? They are one line longer than nonet and one of my favorite forms to write in.

This is sad...I hope whoever this is about got passed it. Obviously, there is someone much more special out there. Your Nonet inspired me to write one. Check it out if you have time....Holly Moore
