The Leap of Faith

Baby steps to the leap of faith,
One by one we'll walk and wait.
Time's on our side, we've time to spare,
So promise me you'll still be there

When love's allowed and we can be
The lovers we're supposed to be.
You know I'll wait, won't say a word,
Won't hurry things, let you get hurt.

So silence doesn't mean to say
We have to suffer along the way.
So keep a space, inside, for me,
One day I'll fit, and we'll be free.
