The Last While

It will come some day or night.
And stop all clocks in your room
Even if you don’t invite
The last second to come soon.

You never know when it comes,
And try not to think of it,
And may ignore all the signs
Which still frightens you a bit.

It may be unexpected
In the best time of your life,
Or it may be awaited
When you stop feeling alive.

It seems to be unfair
When it turns up suddenly
To bring tears and despair,
To end your life finally.

It will appear some day
Regardless of everything.
You can’t quit or run away.
Be ready and awaiting…

Enjoyed reading this one..It is a subject that is avoided but we must all face...When we truly face our mortality, we can live life to the fullest the way that it should be lived..Sara
