The Last Waltz

She lays in her death bed
As tears fill her eyes
Stricken with cancer
She's now paralyzed

She asks for her husband
To sit by her side
He kneels down to comfort
His bedridden bride

She says she'd give anything
Just to have one more chance
To know what it feels like
To dance

He turns on the raido
And takes her by the hand
He holds her in his arms
For she can no longer stand

As the music is playing
He carries her high
Her feet off the floor
She can almost fly

Her eyes begin closing
As they spin round and round
She fills like a princess
Who's missing her crown

She's smiling and crying
In her euphoric trance
She knows what it feels like
To dance

This is very beautiful. (This poem describes a scene in a movie that once made me cry.) Your poem also brought tears to my eyes.
