The Last Strings Attached
He'd always been struggling,
All through his life
Had been looking for love,
But in the right places, hard to find
His mother had left him,
His father was an addict
The girl whom he loved,
Kept shattering his heart, with full impact
You might think he was cool,
For he was a rebel
But it was a cry for attention,
But it only attracted the devil
Misread, broken, and misunderstood
Is what his they had created him to be
Trying to hold it together, with the last strings attached
But the lord never heard his plea
Hated by the right, Loved by the wrong
The strings are breaking off into laces
Can never change, the dreadful story is always the same,
But just with many different faces
