The Last Picture
In the midst of quiet serenity,
Life can get snuffed away,
A tender moment shared can suddenly
turn into a moment of fear,
Lives can go from being happy and satisfied,
to conditions of sorrow, shock and mystification,
An unexpected death
presents a period of sorrow and remorse.
A sense of uselessness can take hold,
when the questions of passivity
keep haunting,
Nine months of labor
and a few months of nurturing,
get lost in one single act of God,
the elements that can make a
pertinent life go wrong.
