I faced it with trepidation so it doesn’t engulf us
But the thing is us…

We chose to embrace distance
Hurtling between disguises
and a glaring scream
It drowns wishes beneath a filtered
wail…
but we lived side by side with it...
always distant,
We learnt how not to love…
but sometimes I forget
