The Last Man On Earth

The last man on earth needed to breathe and ask why
we cut down the tree's to feed our families
we cut down the tree's to find our diamonds
we cut down the tree's to make our farms

The last man on earth needed to eat and asked why
killing the tree's destroyed the wildlife
killing the tree's destroyed the circle of life
killing the tree's destroyed the air

The last man on earth needed to drink and asked why
Killing the tree's changed the climate
killing the tree's reduced the oxygen
killing the tree's stopped the cycle of life

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
